Others' Sighs
her words echoed soundless -
and she turned to face her mirror,
knowing what she would find...
In her eyes, she saw
Her Truth.
In the tear stained cheeks
that were her own,
she could see redness from
Joy and Laughter.
She Believed.
She was more than
that ebb and flow of pain
she knew all to well.
Closing her eyes,
freeing her heart and mind
from their restraints,
she watched the reflection
of who she was
shatter in the strength
of what Could Be.
