this book was born as an offering to those who are grieving the loss of someone they love. gradually, it grew to include those who are struggling with loss of any kind.
bridges is about holding the darkness. something that i'm not very good at myself.
seems when it gets dark, i just want to run and hide. that doesn't work so well.
some of my most profound lessons have been found in that very darkness. and it is when i come out of hiding that i find them.
never an easy task...
to those struggling and to those grieving...this book is for you. may it help remind you that you are not alone, and together, we can come out of hiding. and maybe, if we're lucky, we can find something of value to hold.
