This is where I want to be:
Between your arm and chest,
in this safe place.
In the morning when
I wiggle awake and
at night when
I breathe myself to sleep.
I know and am known
in this everyday
sacred spot
that was made
for me to lie in
and has been lined
with your warmth
and your smell
and your well-considered love.
