For Nancy

gentle, kind and generous, she opened her heart to me.
when i admired her talent and her being,
she smiled and reminded me of my own worth.
and somehow, i believe in it a little bit more because of her.

and now, i picture her a favorite among the angels,
showing them beauty in a way even they have never seen.
and i know she is everywhere there is color.
