john mudd is our wonderful person of the month!

i haven't met john in person....but i want to one day! he's a friend of my son josh. i came to find out about him when josh showed me a vid he had made on his iphone when he bumped into john mudd at panera. josh did an on the spot interview of john mudd and his panera pickle experience. turns out john mudd loves pickles! so much so that he started a website and a fan club on facebook to document at least a year's exploration of the pickle.

"i was just browsing his site and read this: “A pickle, like life, is just as good or as bad as you make it.” While my motto may seem slightly misleading at first, I think it becomes clear that pickles and life are very similar. Understanding that even a bad pickle is still a pickle relates to my own existence. Even though things might get really bad, they could always be worse. I think about this every time I bite into a pickle, and I would like those who read this to do the same."
