it's october! leaf and pumpkin time! apple cider time! and yeah...
i just cannot resist saying it....HOODIE TIME!! no kidding!!! i don't
ever announce a new product here because it's just a place to say
hello....but we've got BONE SIGH HOODIES!!! how can we NOT
tackle you down and sit on you and yell 'WE'VE GOT HOODIES!'??!

delightful things. and warm hoodies...even if they aren't bone sigh
hoodies...cause there's nothing like a sweatshirt in the fall!

a bone sigh buddy of mine, michele, lost her mom very recently.
it's my understanding that she was older and it wasn't unexpected,
but believe it or not, i'm not really sure on that. i'm not as smooth
with all this as i would like to be. i just heard she passed and went
straight to the feelings involved and forgot to ask the details! michele
has been on my mind a lot since she told me. maybe it's cause of losing
my own pop. i thought i was 'okay' with it....had already handled most of
the feelings i needed to handle...that kinda thing. little did i know it
would send me into a tailspin for awhile. i think losing parents does
that. even if it isn't unexpected. i wanted to ask everyone to hold michele
and everyone dealing with the loss of parent in your hearts this month!
some of you are going thru the nursing home deal and the illnesses and
the coping with the aging of parents....it's a lot. and the final passing is
a lot. know that there's a whole group of us out here holding you close.
you're in our hearts this month.

*bobbie is a writer, story teller and fiber artist! i just met her
thru email the other day. i totally love stories and so admire people

*my friend mary is one heck of a person and also a really great counselor!
she works at healing point in columbia, maryland. healing point also offers
acupuncture, theraputic massage, yoga, and support groups!! if you're in
the area, i think it's definitely a place to check out!
*paul and i share mutual friends from one of my most favorite places
on earth, an art gallery in luray, virginia. paul wrote recently offering
me a copy of his first ever book of poetry!!! i can't wait to get it! i've heard
thru those very same mutual friends that he's really good! i'm definitely
looking forward to curling up with it! he's offering it for sale over on amazon!

*speaking of that favorite place of mine...that art gallery in luray, virginia
which is called the warehouse art center....you can check it out on line and see
what i'm talking about. they're still working on their site, BUT you can take
a virtual tour!!! and if you're ever in luray, go over there in person! there's
something magical about that place.
*an awesome cool lady, kathryn, is announcing her very first cd/mp3!
i attended one of kathryn's workshops years ago, and have never forgotten
how moving it was. she's a special lady with some great stuff to share.

when i went over to see his site, i got all intrigued. benjamen is an intuitive

* there have been times when i just fall in love with someone over email.

truly love her. it ocurred to me that i could share her with you as she

ohmygosh!! some of you guys donated money for us to give
bone sighs to places that might like them. well.....let me tell you.......
we got totally carried away and sent a big box of goodies over to
friends of guest house in alexandria, virginia. it was a total delight!
the feedback we got has been ticklin' me for weeks! guys...i think
it really matters that we do this. i really think it does. i was even
wondering if i should try to get a grant to give things away! wouldn't
that be cool?!! i haven't a clue about any of that....just thought i'd
poke around. if you have any suggestions on anything grant related,
feel free to drop me a note!!! and if you have any inclination to
donate to our fund to give bone sighs away...by all means, hop on board!

we got totally moved this month by a customer working in south africa.
