it's march! the month of winds!and crocus! and mud! lots and lots of mud!
it all seems to be talkin' to me this time of year! the wind is whisperin' secrets
for sure. sometimes bellowing them at me! the crocus are shouting out joy
and hope and the mud...the mud is hollerin' to my inner child to play! it's
quite a noisy time of year! here's wishin' you're hearin' all that bellowing,
shouting and hollering and it's getting you in the mood for spring!
toasting the brave crocus,

~~ in our
hearts (with a twist) ~~~
this is usually where i ask us to remember someone in our hearts.
but this time, i wanted to point someone out
who's heart is so incredibly
big and who is trying
to better the world. maybe with a little networking,
we can all help her do that!
i'm speaking of deb booth,
owner of different light studio.
she's created two vids that we have announced
here before.
these vids seriously are healing. they're calming and
soothing and
something about them is truly beyond words.
she wants to get them out to
places that could really use them.
that can be a pretty big list!
hospitals, hospices, chemo treatment centers,
counseling offices, sexual
assault offices, trauma centers, you name it!
deb's vids could help soothe
some raw spots.
you guys are the perfect ones to tell!
so many of you work
at or attend such centers!
we CAN make the world better, we CAN add to the
healing.
check out
her vids, and consider spreading the word to the
ones who purchase for
those places!
let's help get deb's creations to people who can use
them!
every action we make matters...
let's help deb add to the healing of
our little piece of the world!

~~you guys!!~~

the guys and i got ourselves to the park that we mentioned
recently here in the newsletter. it's the park linda and her
daughter-in-law built for linda's son who passed away.
you could feel all the love that went into the creation of
this special little spot. josh took a picture while there,
and we've made a brand new greeting card (above) in
honor of linda and her son! linda, what a beautiful park to have created!
you should feel really proud.

'the flame flickers as
the wax drips down the sides.
out the window,
bare tree branches
reach out in prayer.
sipping my tea,
i think of you.
wish it had been different.
acknowledge it was not.
and release you.'

'it wasn't that she found magic.
it was that
she became magic.'

'i went right back,
stared into your eyes.
he was there. i never looked his way.
for you see, he doesn't matter anymore.
it's only me and you.
he no longer holds any
of our power.
we hold our power.
and together, we hold our world.
i stared into
your eyes and we both knew it.'

just wanted to take a minute here to truly thank you guys for being out there.
your emails of support, comments on my blog, suggestions you send in...gosh...
they all matter so much. and when i hear that you're trying to spread
bone sighs around, sometimes it just makes me want to cry with gratitude.
thank you for being part of what we're trying to do here. you so totally matter.
and hey, if you ever write and don't hear
back, something went haywire!
we always write back!
i'm very grateful you're in my life.
