my gramma was a hard workin' farmer's wife....throw in a german heritage,
the fact that chores and being serious seemed to be what life was for, and you don't
really think of a magical life! but one of my most favorite memories is looking for
four leaf clovers with her. she found more of them than anyone i ever met. i grin now
when i think of it and realize that even gramma was looking for magic...in her own way.
maybe we all are...in our own way. and maybe when we start to see that in each other, that
in itself will be magic......

it's the season of leprechauns and four leaf clovers, mischief and magic...all the stuff that
puts the twinkle in the eyes. we're wishin' you a month of twinklin' eyes and more four leaf
clovers than you ever thought possible!

~ in our hearts ~

art came thru this month and won my heart. he's going thru the process of letting
someone he cares deeply about go. i admire anyone who has the strength to do that
with grace and love. he certainly seems to have both those things goin'. knowing
that it's not an easy journey to trust and keep going forward, we wanted to hold art
in our hearts this month. he's written some poetry that we've included on our "others'
sighs" page. go on over and read art's heart, and send him some positive vibes!
the world needs more men like art! thanks for being out there, mister!

laurie has been part of the bone sigh community for a long time now. she's had major
medical problems and weight issues. she decided to have a gastric bypass. her journey
was recently written up in several magazines and she shared it with us. we wanted to
pass her story along for everyone. there's a line in there about something changing inside
her and she now sees life as a gift not to be taken for granted. i smiled so big when i read
that. if we could all just hang on to that thought! she has sent me emails as she's gone
thru her journey, and there's always such gratitude in them. i love that. check out laurie's
story! http://www.stagnes.org/gratefulpatients_letters_long.htm

~~did you hear??~~

terri's still not exactly sure what this thing is....but bone sigh arts is now going to
have an RSS feed! woo hoo!! since terri composes the newsletter, you'll get terri's
take on this...

if you don't know what it is either, it seems to be some little button that will be on
the website. you can go click on it and "subscribe." that'll put a little thing for bone
sigh arts on your toolbar. whenever you click on that thing, you'll be able to see if
there were any updates over at bone sighs and then you'll always be in the know.

it actually seems kinda silly. i mean, if you want to see what we're up to, just come
on over. we change the home page every month so there's usually something new
to look at. but shoot, i want to show the kids that i'm as hip as they are. so i'm gonna
put this silly thing on the site. actually, THEY'RE going to put this silly thing on the
site. maybe some of you can use it so it won't feel so silly...

if i can love you in my heart,
can i carry it down to my bones?
will my cells fill with it,
carrying it past any physical realm?
will i become love when i learn
to really love you?

~~wisdom from my tea bag~~

okay, i'm headin' out to go do something that scares me! plumbing!
i don't know what it is...i guess the thought of breaking every pipe in
my house maybe....but plumbing scares me. i'm headin' down to my
crawl space (have i mentioned i have claustrophobia??) to go work
on a leaky pipe! i figure better to do it while it's cold and the spiders
are asleep.

deciding to finish the newsletter first (as i may get detoured with those
pipes!) i settled in here with a cup of tea. and are ya ready?? my tea
bag's wisdom today is:

"experience is wisdom."

ya gotta love that. i'm off to get plumbing wise. i'm gonna keep my eyes
open for a four leaf clover along the way!! as always we want to remind
you to honor yourself this month.
