happy new year!!! 2009?! are you ready?!!
zakk is! he's turning SEVENTEEN this month!
you guys remember seventeen?! oh, what a magic age!
and! josh is in his new home! and i'm feelin' older than dirt!
but what the heck, it's a new year and i'm thinking we
should grab it and make it fantastic! want to join us?!
let's take whatever we've got, and do some good with it...

we got a special request this month that is just too much for one
person to hold...which is why she came to us! a friend of mine
lost her nephew right before christmas. her brother's only son,
along with his best friend and his best friend's girlfriend died in
a car accident. her family is devastated and she came asking for
'prayers, vibes, chants or whatever anyone's comfortable putting
out there.' the sorrow of the story is overwhelming.
as is the beauty of her asking for support from others she doesn't
even know. i have no idea if anyone ever takes these posts here
and does anything with them....
but i truly believe it makes a difference if we do.
let's hold char and her family in our hearts this month!
char, thanks for asking for our support....we're with you guys....
and so so sorry.

turning the corner together, the darkness swirled with the light. she finally figured out that they needed each other and gently added a drop of acceptance into the mix. gratitude rose to the surface, and it was then that self love began to form.

*cindy came thru last month with a request for us to share her
website with you guys! her family has a rare genetic cancer they're
dealing with. they're trying to educate the public as they go along.
she asked if we'd share. please check their website out at

*camille's got a new etsy shop! she's only just begun and will
be adding more stuff as she goes along! like runes? hand carved
wands? go check her out!

*jack cook's back with offerings for us! jack's married to one of
my all time favorite people and bloggers, mary.(check out mary's
blog here!) jack is offering free group support meetings! yes! head
on over and see what he's got cookin'. (sorry, i couldn't resist! not
even sure if we'd call that a pun?!)

*char (yes, from in our hearts section)wrote a bone sigh!! and
it's a beautiful one! we've got it up on our 'others' sighs' page!

*a customer came thru and pointed becky out to me. turns out
she had featured some of our art in her blog and got us a few hits.
thought it only fair to return the favor and pass her back to you

i'm feelin' a bit spoiled around here! thank you to two more ladies

*my beautfiul cousin, sher, pointed me to this amazing group supporting
women! she had told me about it years ago when i didn't have a penny to
spare. but now! i figure i can actually sponser another woman in another
country! i am so psyched about this place. she's been supporting them for
ten years now and says they rock! she brought them back to my attention

i want to really really live.
i want to laugh til my stomach tightens so much that it aches.
and my legs hurt from my slapping them.
i want to cry from my gut and let the tears wash me to
where i need to go.
i want to hear the singing of my heart.
and let the sounds echo inside me
and i want to dance to that music.
i want to fill with compassion and touch someone's face so gently
that they can feel the caring in my fingertips.
i want to love so deeply
that my cells vibrate with it
and just standing near me you can feel the buzz of the vibrations.
i want to know that i'm worthy and good
and i want to leave self doubt on the highway.
i want to touch the sky and recognize my soul in it.
i want to walk in the rain and drop to my knees
in gratitude for this gift of life i have been given.
may i never ever forget what a gift it truly is.
