the return of the colors! that's what it feels like inside myself right now.
it's been gray for a long time.
not a good thing for a gal who likes colors.
but maybe it's an important part of the whole deal. that whole
yin yangy thing about needing opposites...
i wouldn't
trade the gray part for anything if it's what gives you
color.
i feel like i got the universe back! and gosh,
it's feelin' awfully good!
we're celebrating colors this month!
and what a perfect month for it!
to spring!
inside and out!

~in our hearts ~
remember our buddy miche?? he's the awesome musician that the kids introduced us to??
well,
he (him?) and his family are
movin' outta the area. it's a big deal for them....
life changing...
they'll be giving all their energy to working on miche's music
career! we can
hold them in
our hearts in a lotta ways! we can send them some great, positive energy that their
transition moves
smoothly, we can go check out miche's website and offer support,
and we can spread his website and
his music around! we're holding miche and his whole family
in our hearts this month. good luck
you guys in all your travels! www.miche.com
~~~~you guys!~~~~
* our wonderful person of the month this month, sarah, told us that april is
sexual assault awareness month!
thought we'd spread
the word and what better way than to link you to an article that sarah wrote?!
after
you read her article, go on over and check out her site! she's awesome! www.dragonflyinternationaltherapy.com/Welcome.html
*one day i was surprised when a homemade teacup came in the mail!
it was a gift from a beautiful person and potter,
jenna,
from winding
roads studio. jenna's also a writer and started a blog.
i believe her blog is temporarily on
hold due to life craze!
but you can go and
read her past posts....AND on the side bar you'll
see a link for her
shop!! she is selling some of her treasures and giving all her
profit to charity!
ha! how cool is that?! want to
support a good cause,
and help jenna "pay it forward??"
check her out at Walking the labyrinth of Life and The Labyrinth of Life store !!
(jenna's teacup will be on the cover of our upcoming book 'over tea!')
here's the bowl i just got from jenna's store!!! it has this quote around the border:
"We shape the clay into a pot but it is the emptiness inside
that holds whatever we want."
*judy reminded me to link the beautiful gallery 'oasis' on our website and we thought it
was worth mentioning
here in the newsletter!
located in harrisonburg, virginia it's a wonderful
place to go visit!
you can find more info about oasis at www.oasisartgallery.org. and you can find
judy at www.artisanscenterofvirginia.org! thanks, judy!
*terri (not this one, another one) wrote a really gorgeous email recently and we asked her
if we could post it on the "inspirational
stories" page. she graciously agreed!
in her note she explained to me how her building a house with her
son
with habitat for humanity
has made a life impact on her.
it was just so cool to read, we had to share it! click here to check out terri's story!
*we mentioned the healing tree last month and left out maryellen!
jeesh! sometimes terri's brain needs a good massage!
anyway, it's absolutely worth going back and checking her out
if you haven't already!! www.healingtr.com
and if you're in the area, keep this place in mind when you need
a little healing/body work!
*dawn's out there trying to gather people to bring light to the world!
what a cool concept! she shares articles and radio shows
with her audience, bringing inspirtation to us all!
if you haven't been there yet, go check dawn out at www.angelsofawakening.net
*kelly wrote and asked a few questions that artists have come thru and asked before.
kinda wonderin' how
to get
some of their stuff out and curious about
the more practical aspects of it all. it finally occurred to terri to post
the little she knows on a page
on the website! it's not like she knows a ton,
but she's made a ton of mistakes
that people can certainly learn from!
any artists out there
looking for some practical thoughts can check out
this page.
if you have any specific questions terri might be able to help with, email her and ask and
we can add
them to the page! click here for artist info
~~~did you hear?!~~~
we're going REAL with our books!
we decided to move from the handmade books to printed,self published ones!!
we are sooo excited! ~~
yo built a whole new
website for the books! no kidding!
come on over and get excited with us! www.bonesighbooks.com
while you're there, be sure to go on over and read
"fingerprints" and get an inside view of
terri's mind! ~~
we realize that a lotta times people don't like change. and those of you who have
handmade
books may not be thrilled with mass produced printed ones. if you can keep
in mind the
excitement over here...when we change stuff around it usually means
we're growing and that's
a great, great thing! these will allow us to reach so many
more people...
and! it means terri won't
be stapling her fingers together anymore!
that in itself is something to celebrate! so come on
over and rejoice in the changes we're making and come grow with us!
~~~my space???~~~~
the guys told terri she really had to step into the century and create a my space page.
ohmy. terri felt a wee bit silly. kinda thinking it was mostly for teens, but then remembering
some really cool non-teen people who were on there, she held her breath and jumped on in!
then she turned, looked at her boys and said "will you be my friend????"
it's lookin' a little scarce in ter's friend list.
anyone want to come over and be her friend???
come on by! www.myspace.com/bonesigharts
~~~~ generic e- cards???!!~~~
nori wrote us last month looking for some e-cards she could send that weren't quite so
...oh....what do you say???....intense???? we had to laugh! ya gotta be kidding?! intense
is our middle name! but we could see her point! so we made up a few e-cards we hoped
helped her out with what she needed. we created a whole new catagory called "not so
intense." we hope to keep adding to all the catagories as terri's learning photoshop and
plans to practice by making e-cards! so keep on comin' over and checkin' them out!
norie also mentioned she missed some of the things on our old e-card set up. ahhh..
once again...the change thing! hang tight with our changes. as i told her, things are always
changing around here...with any luck, they'll change into something you like better as
we go along. just give us time!
bizarre sense of humor?
there's this taxi cab driver, see, and he wins the lotto, see,
and now he gets to choose whoever he wants to pick up for
a fare, see. so he can openly be tired of the mundane,
and go for the free and crazy! see?
nahhh...you haven't seen it yet until you watch this vid!
i admit it, my kids had to explain it to me! but once
i understood, i laughed and laughed and laughed!
i want to be him!
and then i want to be the other guy!
watch it a couple times and look at different people
each time! its a hoot!
each time i see it, i'm reminded to let go and live!
it was when she laughed and smiled
that her beauty grabbed me,
and i loved her.
(new image for our 'for mag' greeting card)
they know me in a way no one else ever has.
they open me to things i never knew existed.
they drive me to insanity and push me to
my depths. they are the beat of my heart,
the pulse in my veins, and the
energy in my soul.
they are my kids.
(new image for 'my kids' print!)
she was telling him about giving birth -
'one of the most amazing things about it is you
have to totally trust thru the worst pain.
all you can do is release control and trust."
she stopped and stared at him. the tears came. "i guess that's not jut druing birth, is it?"
she asked, reaching for his hand.
(new image for 'birth' greeting card!)
~~~just a proud mama!!~~~
josh played a solo gig this past month, and terri was bustin' buttons!
(as her buddy, crusty wolf, used to say!)
first time she really heard him sing!! yo yo took pictures that rocked
as much as josh's singin'! so we thought we'd share one of our favorites! check out his singing blues is my business!
isn't that just beautiful?!
the boys are old souls who really try hard to be the people they want to be.
i'd like to remind my boys, my self...and all of us..
let's keep tryin' to be true to our hearts...and as always...remember to
honor yourself....
