Once upon a time, I was told that I couldn't do it. That I shouldn't dare. That the dream was too risky. That the risks too scary. The only people behind me were my three sons. And together, my three sons and I built a dream. Can you imagine building a dream with your sons? There are days I feel like the luckiest person alive. And that feeling has its roots in the darkest time in my life. How's that for something to think about on those dark days? Gold is found in that darkness. Gold that you don't even know exists. Hang on to that thought and come be part of our journey.

let's consider this little corner of the forum our 'suggestion box.'
if you have any ideas for bone sigh arts in any way...the forum, the site, the fb page...anything, throw them our way!

a lot of people have really fun ideas for products. i love to hear them! just keep in mind a couple things....i really really don't want
to get into imported/sweatshop kinda stuff and you'd be amazed how hard that is to stay out of. (i'm pretty discouraged about that
having just about totally given up on apparel today....)AND we have to store the inventory and pay for the inventory ahead of time!
and! one more thing........i have to get the wholesale price low as i sell to shops. so you have to think twice marking down, ya know??
so if you're suggesting products, just know that runs thru my head all the time. there's all these little sticky details.

if there's more of stuff you'd like to see, let me know. if there's a service we're not offering you'd like, pop it on out here.

we have a pretty long 'to do' list but i like to keep adding to it so we never get bored!!

    now......anything that's on your mind......go for it!  :)

Okay, I know mark downs and what nots...
but there are 2 things that you have out there
    that OH
    how I wish
    was wearable art.
    A pendant, a bracelet..
    something..
    this
with maybe the believe in the star
and the little bone sigh dude with the flame and the heart in his hands.
I have always loved that little guy
and think he would be the coolest pendant.
    I know
    probably not feasible...
    but I can dream can't I???
    lol
    (love'o'lot)

I would love to know more of what your long term vision is for Bone Sigh. I know you give us updates, but I think it would be neat to know more about what you wish to accomplish.

Been thinking a lot the last couple of weeks of all the cathartic and positively freaky-deekie seismic AHA moments of healing we've shared here. I've learned and healed more rapidly here at Bone Sigh than I ever did before combined. I think others may feel the same way. What you've created here is so sacred, pure and beautiful. We have a place to put it down, pull it apart and put it all back together.

I keep asking myself - what if kids had a place at Bone Sigh where we could help them get a head start on the healing? What kind of a difference could that make in a world of hurt? I think it would provide a much needed vehicle for expression for young people who've been through similar experiences.

Another idea - ever thought of having a Bone Sigh Honor Yourself conference? just sayin .... :)

And one last suggestion - is it possible to have a button to click if we want to go to the most recent post in a thread?

If you worry about taking on too much there are some of us that might could help ya out.

    That's my 50 cents :)

hey, sunflower........thanks for all of this!
i love the button idea.....it's a pain the way it is, isn't it??
    i'll ask zakk.
he's a bit swamped right now...so not sure how far i'll get, but i'll ask.
    i would love that!

as far as the kids thing......that's a great idea....not sure how to make that happen.
and yeah, i don't have the time right now so that would have to be other people diving in...
we could do it right here too maybe......don't know. if anyone has ideas or wants to start
something......i think it's a great idea. maybe just invite some kids. who knows.......
    i'm open.

i love that there's healing going on here.
and i didn't want to do this thing at all!
i don't have a lotta time and i figured it'd be too hard.
    silly me.
you guys can just take it and run with it and i can wander in when i can.
    i love that.

time is a huge factor for me.
the vision for bone sighs is a blur right now.......
we're in transition and i'm tryin' to figure out where to go with it all......
once i get one, i'd be glad to share it!!!  :)

    I have a thought
    and it's a greedy thought
it's a "i can't get enough bonesigh thought" and another one of my "probably not feasible" brain storms.
    A calendar?
A bonesigh Calender with different bonesighs every month?
    OOOOoooooOOooo swooning at the thought....

frustrated fred! GOOD to see you!
yeah, i think it's a great idea.....i've always wanted to do one.

    prolly won't happen tho.
    at least for awhile......
    :)

unless i do one of those sites where you just order it from that site.
it's one of those things that costs a bit, you end up with a lot in stock,
and with a calendar, i got a limited time to sell them...

i hate to be a drag. i really do.
it's just there's all these little snag things that get ya.
    it gets really discouraging sometimes.

noah and i tried one one year together.
we just got one to try it out.
for the price, no one would want one......
to get the price down we had to order a ton......
so we just kinda dropped it.

but you never know....maybe there's a change somewhere and i should look!
    thanks, ff!

    :)

Well, if you ever get up to 365 Bone Sighs you could do one of those daily calendars that focus on the day of the year instead of the day of the week.  You can use those forever (except for those darn leap years).

How about..on these forums, putting the newest post first, so we don't have to scroll and scroll to find the new one?
    :-D

ohmygosh yes, don't you hate that??? it drives me nuts! that's a zakk job.....
and i'd say ohhhhh about the next 6 months he's got a waiting list of 'to do's'
i've already mentioned it to him.
i'll ask again in case it's just a button he can click like an option or something......
if that's it, we'll do it.
if it's coding and stuff......i'm afraid we'll have to scroll for awhile........

    but thanks for the nudge.
    i'll nudge too!
    :)
